For the whole professional audio system, the quality of sound can be caused by many factors. In order to get a perfect performance, it is necessary to check the equipment in advance. During the test process, professional equipment is needed to check the sound quality of the speakers more accurately. In the last period, we learned the observation and inspection method. Today, we introduce the groping method.

The groping method is to use comparison, replacement, segmentation, simulation and other groping methods for circuits of suspected departments to find the fault and then eliminate it. The detailed methods are as follows:

1. Comparison

Find a machine with the same model as the fault machine, use the left and right sound channel components of the same machine in the professional equipment, measure the voltage, resistance and current of the corresponding department, and then compare them to find the fault.

2. Replace

Replace suspected components with good components, or replace left and right audio components, especially for integrated circuit blocks. If the machine returns to normal after component exchange, it indicates that the component has a problem or is damaged.

3. Split

Disconnect the circuit of one department from that of other departments, connect the external power supply, inject signals, and judge.

4. Simulation

For temperature simulation, a hairdryer is used for heating, or alcohol is used for cooling to check the temperature function. For vibration simulation, a thin plastic insulating rod is used to tap some parts to check the working condition of the circuit. Some faulty soldering can be found and the fault can be checked. This method is generally carried out by those who are skilled in technology, otherwise, it is easy to cause fault aggravation.
